A seven-stripe cool-toned gradient flag in blue, white, and purple, designed by Dorian Rutherford in 2016 as a butch lesbian pride flag. The blue stripes represent masculinity and gender expression, the purple stripes represent lesbian and women-loving-women identity, and the white center represents people across gender and sexuality spectrums. This is the earlier of two major butch flags from the mid-2010s, distinct in color, tone, and design lineage from the 2017 warm-toned butchspace flag whose orange palette would later feed into the sunset lesbian flag.
